A chatbot is any system, often a software program, that receives messages from users and responds to them. In the context of the Internet, a chatbot is a program that enables users to interact with a system by sending or receiving messages on a message board, voice chat, or video call.

chatbots are so common on the Internet that, in order to avoid confusion, most people just call them chatbots, but that’s a bit of an oversimplification. They can be designed to look like human beings and they can interact with humans in a variety of ways.

As one of our chatbot support service providers, we recently had a chatbot that we could use to answer questions from users who had installed our company chatbot support service. The chatbot was programmed to respond to user questions in a way that provided a useful answer. Like many other chatbot programs, it could answer almost any question you could throw at it.

Since the chatbot was a self-service application, it didn’t need a human to ask questions to it. It would have been nice if it could have done this, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. For every question someone asks (or answers) a chatbot, our chatbot support service provider must reply with one of its own, and it must do this without having to ask the user for their help.

So even though chatbots are great, we should continue to be aware of how our chatbots can be used against us. By providing a support service for chatbots, we are exposing ourselves to a new class of user: chatbot-using scammers.

The bots that our chatbot support service provider has been helping out with are still a relatively new breed of bot-using scammers. They take advantage of the fact that most companies have now gone live with chatbots on their websites and have incorporated this support into the form of a chatbot. Instead, these bots are still in the “it will help me make money if I send this chat request to someone” stage.

The problem is that chatbots are not really new. They were used in the 90s when spam was more prevalent and companies were still trying to figure out how to make these bot-emails more secure. So yes, chatbots are the new way to send spam. So we were really excited to see where this new class of bot-using scammers will take this and how we can stop them.

Chatbot support is still getting more and more advanced, and they have made some sort of progress in their efforts to protect their users from hackers.
