I think the art work for this exhibition was really inspired by the work we did at the Bauhaus. We love the idea that we are taking the art of the past and creating something new from our own visions. As an American art history student I am always excited about the possibilities, and this exhibition is a perfect example of that.
The Bauhaus was a huge influence on many of us at Arkane, and the fact that the work in this exhibition is so closely related to this movement is a great example of how our culture has changed. The Bauhaus was a unique school of modern architecture that was focused on the idea of art as a force for social transformation.
