It’s time for another awesome podcast episode from my friend and collaborator, the incredibly talented and hilarious, Jeezy.
I love Jeezy so much. He is one of my favorite people on the internet, but not only is he an amazing writer, but he’s also one of the most entertaining people I’ve ever seen on the internet. He is a master of the witty banter and his sense of humor is always so strong, it’s almost like he’s channeling the voice of a character from The Simpsons.
Jeezy is an artist with his own brand of humor. But he’s also a writer who has a style that is very similar to that of one of the writers of the Simpsons. His writing style is a mix of the funniest writing and the most serious writing. I love his writing because it flows smoothly and effortlessly.
He is best known for his work on the rapper/artist Young B.I.G., but the man also has a passion for writing and that passion is apparent in his work. He writes funny, serious, and absurd pieces of writing that are often well received. His style on Deathloop is not in the same league as Young B.I.G.
That’s because Deathloop is, well, just Deathloop. In it, you play as Colt Vahn, a man who has awakened to the fact that he is no longer the head of security for the party island that he used to be. He’s now a ghost, trapped in this world, and one where all of the various party-hating Visionaries are at his beck and call.
I’ve never understood this story enough on deathloop. The characters have told me how they feel, how they feel because they have been told that they are going to be in a dark place, and they’re just being told that they won’t be there for a second. This is the first time I’ve seen this, and I’m sure it will be, but it is so frustrating.
It’s easy to forget that we’re playing in a time loop, or that there are literally hundreds of other characters and party-hating Visionaries in the world, but there is a lot of stuff going on that we don’t know about. The fact that he is trapped here, and heres no reason to believe that he will be there for a second, is a little more confusing than most.
The thing is, we have no idea where we are in the game. We just know that Colt has been there for a while and has been trying to kill Visionaries. So, we have to assume that there is still a lot going on that we dont know about, like how the Visionaries feel about each other. But there is no way to know that without a bunch of puzzles in the game.
Of course, this is all stuff that we can discuss in the podcast. This is not a spoiler.
We also discuss the game’s story, which we think is pretty decent. But that is all we’re going to talk about here.
